Mobile Bridal Salon Terms:
Blend Wellness & Beauty requires that you book your appointments and/or trials as far in advance as possible. Please assign one person to be the coordinator for your group to eliminate communication problems.
Blend Wellness & Beauty does not require the bride and/or party members to schedule and attend a trial appointment with the stylist and make-up artist (if applicable), however; this is highly recommended.
The person, whom the bride is scheduled with on the trial date, shall be the same person(s) to service you and your party on your wedding day (unless otherwise requested by the bride and/or bridal party). It is required that the bride and/or participating party attendees bring along all veil/headpiece(s), pictures of preferred hairstyles/makeup looks, & pictures of your dress to the trial appointment. *If a trial is not booked with us, we ask you to email us photographs of the bride’s & bridal party headpiece/veil, pictures of preferred hairstyles/makeup looks, and pictures of the dresses a minimum of 2 week(s) in advance from your booking.
All hair services prices are subject to change due to difficulty, length or thickness of hair, extensive curling iron work. This policy applies for the entire wedding party including flower girls and/or junior bridesmaids. The prices listed in our brochures, quotes, and on the website are set prices. If you require other changes (we typically charge +$15-$25 extra per person) and/or travel fees (starting at +$40 depending on location/free within the Edmonton areas), we will let you know in advance of these fees and/or on-site if there will be an extra fee incurred for any additional service(s).
All clients must arrive with hair clean and completely dry. Clients will not receive a free shampoo and/or blow-dry. If you would like a shampoo and/or blow-dry BEFORE your styling appointment, this is considered an additional service and must be booked in advance and will incur additional cost. If our team arrives and your hair is wet, a blow-out fee (starting at +$30.00 per person) must be charged additional to your service along with a 15% gratuity (if this service is not booked in advance) and please note this may result in our team running behind. NOTE: gratuity is not otherwise added to your bill and in most cases is optional to you. We suggest a +15% Gratuity on the day of.
In regards to your hair style, hair works better for up dos if it is a “bit” dirty. Please do not wash your hair the day of your appointment; the style will maintain its shape if hair is somewhat dirty. If need be the stylist will cleanse the hair prior to styling. We recommend that you wash your hair the day prior to your appointment, and let it dry naturally. No product and/or style in hair or makeup on face is preferred on the day of your appointment. We ask that you send us pictures of the style and/or makeup that you would like at least 2 weeks in advance. Pictures will greatly improve the communication with your stylist and/or makeup artist.
Discount Policy: We do not accept coupons or provide discounts on wedding party services and/or for any delays in service (hair, nails, and/or makeup). If you would like to schedule other beauty services prior to that day (massage, facials, body treatment, scrubs, etc.), we will gladly work with you and we will ensure that we are booked with enough time to complete the job(s) on your special day. No discounts or refunds shall be given on the day of your booking for anyone who decides they want to cancel services on-site. All services are to be confirmed 72 hours prior to your booking date otherwise full charges apply.
Blend Wellness & Beauty requires an up-front retainer (of 30% off total bill) in order to secure any and all bridal/mobile service appointments. All retainers are considered non-refundable at the time they are made. Note there will be no refunds at anytime. If your wedding date and/or occasion are delayed for any reason, please let us know immediately. We will hold your deposit as a “credit” towards a future date for up to 6 months from your original appointment date. Any “no-shows”, “cancelled weddings”, “delayed services” that affect your appointment date will be treated as abandoned & all deposits forfeited. If you keep your booking this 30% retainer will be deducted from your total day of bill.
Payment Policy: We ask each party to assign one person to pay the balance on the appointment date. This reduces confusion and transaction time on a day that we want to keep you on-time and stress-free.
